Fold : an art book and zine show featuring over 60 bookmakers working at the intersection of art and text. The exhibition/community library highlights the incredible range of publishing happening in Missouri and the Midwest, while also making connections to national and international practices and projects.  See full list of participants below!

The exhibition runs parallel to additional book-related programming—including a reading and art book fair—in conjunction with the Unbound Book Festival.

The opening on Friday, April 4th, will feature a special installation and pop-shop from astr press, a KC-based zine/chapbook/artist’s book publisher. astr (astringent) press is an zine/chapbook/artist’s book publisher dedicated to contextualizing contemporary struggles for autonomy, freedom, and justice through histories, narratives, art, and design.
